- Is the 2 Year Maintenance Plan a warranty that covers the cost of vehicle repairs?
The 2 Year Maintenance Plan is not a warranty, and it does not cover the cost of repairs.
The 2 Year Maintenance Plan is provided complimentary by authorized dealerships, and it is designed to save plan holders some money on their oil changes and other preventative maintenance.
Every maintenance plan issued by CARCARE Promotions has our company name and our Customer Support number clearly printed on it.
If your document does not explicitly say CARCARE Promotions and have our toll free number printed on the document, rest assured the document is not issued by CARCARE Promotions.
CARCARE Promotions does not offer warranty products. We are unable to determine if you may have purchased a warranty from your dealership. Please contact your dealership to determine if you may have purchased a warranty at the time of vehicle purchase.
- Can I have my vehicle serviced anywhere?
You are welcome to have your vehicle serviced anywhere. However, if you wish to save some money on your oil changes and other preventative maintenance using the 2 Year Maintenance Plan, you will need to visit the participating independent service center assigned at the time of plan activation.
- What benefits and coverage are included with my maintenance plan?
The 2 Year Maintenance Plan includes the services and discounts printed on the plan certificate. Verbal promises which may contradict the benefits and coverage outlined on the plan certificate, made by any person or entity, are invalid.
The maintenance plan is not a warranty, and it does not cover the cost of repairs. In contrast, warranties can cost thousands of dollars as they step in to cover the cost of repairs.
The 2 year Maintenance Plan includes five (5) oil change services. Each oil change service includes up to five (5) quarts of conventional motor oil, lube, and standard filter. Disposal/shop fee and applicable sales tax are extra.
The service center is only permitted to use the manufacturer-recommended oil type for the vehicle.
If you vehicle requires synthetic motor oil, more than five (5) quarts of oil, and/or specialty filter/parts, the service center may apply a discount to the higher-priced oil change service.
The maintenance plan does not involve a claim or reimbursement framework.
- Does my plan cover all makes and models?
Your maintenance plan is valid on every make and model. While most service centers in our network are capable of servicing any year/make/model of vehicle, some limitations may apply due to equipment required to safely service the vehicle.

CARCARE Promotions is your plan administrator. Unfortunately, we do not have access to service center schedules or pricing. Please contact your service center directly to schedule an appointment.

- I thought the oil changes were supposed to be free.

- I'd like a closer service center to my address.
Our website automatically assigns plan holders to the nearest participating independent service center using the address entered at the time of activation. It is very important that you enter a street address at the time of plan activation, not a post office box, and confirm the accuracy of the address prior to submitting the activation. If a participating independent service center is not available within 65 miles of the address entered, a service center will not be assigned.

- Im trying to login and having trouble.
If you need to lookup your assigned service center, go to the home page and enter your certificate number in the ACTIVATED CUSTOMERS search box. There is not a website login for customers, only service center representatives.

- When trying to activate my plan, I get stuck in a loop where I receive a message indicating my plan is already activated, and then another message that my plan has not yet been activated.
ONLY plan certificates with a CERTIFICATE NUMBER require activation on this website.
If your plan certificate has an account number or partner code, your plan does not require activation on this website.
- When I activated my plan, I received a message that there are no service centers in my area.

- The service center I was assigned to no longer participates.
From time to time, service centers pause or discontinue their participation due to an overwhelming, positive response from maintenance plan holders. Not to worry, we can identify the next closest participating independent service center and reassign your plan there.
